Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Technical Accounting Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team in North Reading, MA. This hybrid role requires at least 2 days in the office per week and involves ensuring high standards of financial reporting and revenue recognition in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review material orders and prepare revenue recognition checklists and supporting documentation.
2. Support reviews of new/complex contracts for appropriate revenue recognition.
3. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards affecting revenue recognition.
4. Review business plans for new products and revenue offerings.
5. Partner with divisional finance leads to ensure proper revenue recognition and research complex revenue topics.
6. Prepare schedules for external revenue reporting, including 10-Q/K revenue footnotes and MD&A disclosures.
7. Liaise with external auditors to provide revenue support and schedules.
8. Evaluate and improve revenue recognition practices, facilitating process streamlining and technology utilization.
9. Assist in training cross-functional teams on accounting implications.
10. Collaborate to standardize the revenue reporting process.

Qualifications

• CPA required or on the path to completing CPA exams.
• Minimum 2 years in public accounting with experience in revenue recognition and SOX controls.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 standards.
• Experience with public filings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in leveraging emerging technologies (RPA, Copilot, OCR).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Experience working in a global team.
