Job summary

ORIX USA is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead technical accounting for the company and its subsidiaries in Dallas. The role requires deep US GAAP expertise, including CECL and Goodwill, and collaboration with external auditors.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, with 6–10 years of relevant experience and a CPA qualification. A background in public accounting and SEC reporting is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of accounting and reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 strongly preferred).
• CPA is required.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP technical accounting (CECL, Goodwill, Consolidation, Derivatives, etc.).
• Experience with SEC reporting for a subsidiary is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of technical accounting for ORIX USA and subsidiaries.
• Coordinate Accounting Policy with satellite offices to ensure consistent conclusions.
• Work with external and internal auditors on financial service accounting issues/questions.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
