Job summary

LHH is partnering with a large, well-established organization to recruit a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager focused on technical accounting and financial reporting. The role offers a base of $100K–$120K with discretionary bonus, and a hybrid schedule in Plantation, FL, with fully remote consideration based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 exposure, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience with a Big 4, national, or strong regional firm strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• ASC 820, ASC 946, fair value, investment accounting, or financial-services exposure is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret U.S. GAAP accounting guidance.
• Support technical accounting and complex financial reporting matters.
• Prepare technical accounting documentation and accounting memos.
• Assist with fair value and investment-related accounting matters.
• Support month-end close and broader accounting projects.
• Help implement new reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Utilize technology and AI tools to improve accounting research and workflows.
• Support ERP and systems-related initiatives.
