Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a pharmaceutical organization in Southlake, Texas. This role involves leading projects and overseeing staff accountants while ensuring GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 4 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
• 4+ years of working experience within public accounting or large corporate environment.
• Advanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experience.
• Proficient verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries.
• Prepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correct.
• Partner with both internal and external auditors.
• Work with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessary.
• Ensure that GAAP compliance is met and maintained.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for upper-level management.
• Complete various ad-hoc projects when necessary.
• Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members.
