Job summary

Veeam Software, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in Barcelona, combining work-from-home with face-to-face client visits.

You will lead planning, architecture, and management of professional services engagements focused on data protection, availability solutions, and IT risk mitigation across data center and cloud environments. The role requires deep expertise in data management, analytics, and virtualization, with strong PM and consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology is required or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Core products is required.
• Proven consulting and project management experience is expected.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Strong virtualization experience, including VMware/Hyper-V, is required.
• Experience with storage, networking, and enterprise backup architectures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to proposals and Statements of Work.
• Support delivery, implementation, and consulting services.
• Provide overall project guidance including plans, schedules, and status updates.
• Assist with assessment, design, and post-installation issues.
• Assist with effort estimation for Veeam solutions.
• Create white papers, solution guides, and best practices documentation.
• Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam solutions.
• Document configurations and completed activities.
• Analyze environments and guide optimal Veeam configurations.
• Facilitate client and Veeam support communications.
• Identify additional needs for Veeam solutions.
• Contribute to process and documentation improvements.
• Overnight business stays to meet company goals.

Location: Based in Barcelona (Work from Home combined with face-to-face customer visits).

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology required (A combination of education and experience will be considered)
• Hands-on experience with Veeam's Core products
• Proven Consulting and Project Management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Significant experience and understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fibre Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services)
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
• Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity and Operating Systems
• Experience successfully managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, capabilities, and protocols
• Business proficient in Spanish and Catalan and English
