The company is seeking a Technical Account Manager to maintain and grow sales within an assigned group of industrial customer accounts. This individual will proactively manage customer relationships while helping customers improve production processes, grow their businesses, and increase the use of the company's technical materials and solutions.

Position Overview
The Technical Account Manager will work with key decision-makers and influencers at assigned accounts to develop and execute annual account plans focused on:
- Production and process improvements
- Market and application development
- Identifying and resolving customer challenges

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned industrial customer accounts.
- Develop and execute annual account and territory plans with defined sales goals, activity plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across customer organizations.
- Work closely with customer sales, marketing, quoting, customer service, production, and technical teams to increase product usage and expand specifications.
- Identify opportunities to replace competitive products and support the development of new applications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for non-routine customer issues involving orders, quality, delivery, packaging, processing, marketing, specifications, or applications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and clearly document solutions.
- Communicate regularly with internal leadership regarding account status, opportunities, risks, and emerging issues.
- Maintain customer information, technical knowledge, and key decisions within the company's CRM and other internal systems.
- Develop and maintain annual sales forecasts for assigned accounts and communicate changes that may affect business planning.
- Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the company's products, processing requirements, and performance specifications.
- Identify opportunities to help customers improve operations and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing complex industrial B2B sales opportunities, particularly involving technical or OEM-specified products.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment, production teams, and technical processes.
- Ability to read and interpret military, industrial, or other technical specifications.
- Experience troubleshooting technical or production-related challenges and identifying process improvements.
- Strong written communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations, including operators, production managers, quality managers, sales and marketing professionals, and business owners.
- Strong listening skills and business acumen, particularly within small- to mid-sized manufacturing environments.
- A proactive, relationship-driven approach to account management and business development.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required, including occasional international travel.
