Job summary

Our client in the fashion/accessories space is seeking an Associate Technical Accessory Designer for a contract-to-hire role. The candidate will move quickly between projects and products, creating tech packs, sketches and CADs while supporting development across headwear, bags, socks and novelties.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field, 3+ years of technical design experience, and strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field is required.
• 3+ years of technical design experience.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience with PLM systems (WFX preferred).
• Adobe Firefly / AI design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create tech packs, technical sketches, product designs and CADs.
• Support product development across headwear, bags, socks, cold-weather accessories and novelties.
• Conduct trend research and develop design inspiration.
• Partner with design, sales and production teams to bring products to life.
• Work with prints, knits, hardware, materials and construction details.
• Collaborate with global teams and troubleshoot design/production challenges.
• Maintain creative/design resources and showroom materials.
