Job summary

A-Bear Roofing is a local, family-owned business in Ventura seeking a hardworking Roofer to join the team. You’ll help install, repair, and maintain roofs while keeping job sites safe and organized.

We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others. Roofing experience is preferred. You must have your own vehicle for reliable transportation to and from work.

Qualifications

• Previous roofing experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Own vehicle for transportation to and from work.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred.
• Ability to work safely at heights and climb ladders.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 40+ pounds and perform physical work, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Help install, repair, and replace roofing materials.
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation.
• Install flashing and seal roof joints to help prevent leaks.
• Safely use ladders, roofing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Load, unload, and organize materials.
• Keep job sites clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Work closely with the crew to complete quality work on schedule.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and customer property with respect.
