Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Technical Recruiter to identify, assess and hire strong technical talent for engineering and AI roles.

Source and headhunt engineers across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure and other technical disciplines. You will manage candidates from outreach through interviews, offers and closing, partnering with hiring managers to refine requirements and improve targeting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience with exposure to software engineering or technical hiring.
• Ability to proactively source candidates beyond inbound applications.
• Ability to understand technical profiles and distinguish experience from keywords.
• Strong written and verbal communication to engage passive candidates.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn technical domains quickly in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and headhunt engineers across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, and infrastructure.
• Build targeted talent maps across technology companies, startups, and research organisations.
• Review technical profiles for substance and relevance beyond titles and company names.
• Conduct recruiter screens to assess experience, motivation, compensation and fit.
• Manage candidates from outreach through interviews, offers and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and improve targeting.
• Maintain a high-quality recruiting pipeline and accurate candidate data in the ATS.
