Job summary

Southern Company Services is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy & Enablement to drive the Technology Organization’s horizontal strategy, develop 3–5 year capability roadmaps, and create value realization metrics across Electric, Gas, Enterprise, and Shared Services portfolios.

The role partners with Architecture, Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Applications leaders to ensure foundational capabilities are planned and aligned with future business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or Business required.
MBA or related master's highly preferred.
10+ years in technology strategy or enterprise architecture.
Experience with OKRs and executive dashboards to measure progress.

Responsibilities

Lead the technology strategy and multi-year capability roadmaps.
Translate business priorities into technology capabilities and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Applications leaders.
Establish and track OKRs, executive scorecards, and value measurements.
Support technology investment planning with strategic insights and business outcomes.
