Job summary

Southern Company Services seeks a Director of Technology Strategy & Enablement to shape the organization’s technology strategy and multi-year capability roadmaps. You will aggregate demand across Electric, Gas, Enterprise, and Shared Services to identify common needs and opportunities for platform reuse.

You will partner with Architecture, Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Applications leaders to ensure capabilities are planned and aligned with future business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in technology strategy or enterprise architecture.
• Experience developing enterprise technology strategies, capability roadmaps, and value frameworks.
• Proven ability to establish OKRs, executive scorecards, and performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning for the Technology Organization and translate priorities into a cohesive technology strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Collaborate with business strategy, operating company, and functional leaders to translate objectives into capabilities and investment recommendations.
• Assess operating model requirements, governance, and workforce planning to support future needs.
• Identify shared capabilities, dependencies, and opportunities for reuse, standardization, and cost optimization.
• Develop 3–5 year roadmaps aligned with transformation, modernization, and innovation goals.
• Align technology strategies with Architecture, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data & AI leaders and investment priorities.
• Track progress with OKRs and executive dashboards; communicate outcomes and value realized.
