Job summary

Southern Company Services is seeking a Director of Technology Strategy & Enablement to drive the Technology Organization's horizontal strategy function. You will develop overarching strategy, multi-year roadmaps, and value-realization frameworks and align them with business goals.

You will aggregate demand from Electric, Gas, Enterprise, and Shared Services portfolios, identifying common capabilities and opportunities for platform reuse, partnering with Architecture, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data &

Qualifications

10+ years in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or related leadership.
Proven ability to develop enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps.
Experience establishing OKRs and executive scorecards.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and translate priorities into technology strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
Collaborate with business and functional leadership to turn objectives into capabilities and investments.
Assess operating models, governance, sourcing, and workforce planning for future needs.
Identify shared capabilities and opportunities for standardization and cost optimization.
Develop 3–5 year capability roadmaps supporting transformation and innovation.
Align strategies with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data/AI, and Applications leaders.
Track progress with OKRs, scorecards, and dashboards to measure value realization.
Provide strategic insights for investment planning and executive decision support.
