Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to lead daily activities in the MRI, CT, ultrasound, or interventional radiology modalities within the Cancer Center - Radiation Oncology. This role collaborates with radiologists, therapists and referring physicians to ensure safe, efficient patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations.

The ideal candidate holds RT/RTT registration, BLS certification, and at least two years in a specialty area, with supervisory experience

Qualifications

  • Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the designated specialty area.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the daily activities of the assigned modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR).
  • Acts as a liaison between the radiology department and referring physician offices.

RADIOLOGY

Leads the daily activities of assigned Modality (MRI, CT, US, or IR). Acts as a resource concerning specialty area for the radiologists, radiology staff and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician's offices. Works with pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

CANCER CENTER - RADIATION ONCOLOGY

Leads the daily activity of the CT scanner(s). Acts as a resource concerning the CT process for the Physicians, Radiation Therapists and other department staff.

REQUIRED
  1. Registered Radiological Technological (RT or RTT)
  2. Two (2) years of experience in Specialty Area.
  3. Must hold Certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED
  1. Two years of supervisory experience.
