Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Tech Specialist 3 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on designing, engineering, integrating, and maintaining electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers, including intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, and video systems. You will lead technical teams, configure security deployments, and develop governance playbooks while expanding service lines and ensuring KPI/SLA/SLO performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in electronic security systems or equivalent.
• Associates with 8+ years of experience or Bachelor's with 5+ years experience or Master's with 3+ years experience.
• System administrator experience in triage, resolving problems, and implementing workstations.
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems preferred.

We are seeking a Tech Specialist 3to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit.As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

• Managing, leading and building technical teams and programs
• Directly working, programming and configuring security systems
• Developing security systems governance model - standards, playbooks and workflows
• Developing and expanding service lines
• Identifying new business opportunities that expand the scope
• Delivering and reporting on KPI, SLA and SLO performances
• Experience in programming and configuring fully federated security system deployments
• Interface regularly with customers, partner teams, key stakeholders and technical experts.
• Prepare and present quarterly business reports.
• Report weekly, monthly and quarterly project statuses and operational performance to key stakeholders.
• Suggest and plan program changes, enhancements, and overall improvements that align with the organizational strategy.
• Manage team member performance, needs, training and development.
• Manage all talent acquisitions and offboarding activities.
• Build and manage strategic goals and operational costs budgets.
• Coach, mentor, train and develop team members to reach their maximum potential.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or
• Associates with 8+ years of experience or
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience or
• Master's Degree with 3+ years experience
• System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems preferred
• Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS
