Job summary

Position Summary

• Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all foods prepared and returned.
• Ensuring MD Dept of Health standards are followed, along with strict safety standards under Johns Hopkins expectations

Experience

• HS diploma, or equivalent, required
• Culinary training (graduate of a culinary or technical school) preferred
• 1 year related experience required
• Experience cooking in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
• Or, experience cooking in an institutional setting

Hours/Other Information

• Full-time (40 hrs per week)
• Rotating Shift
• Weekend & holiday work required
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Primarily evening shifts with rotating weekends off. Some morning shifts may be required as needed.

Salary Range:

Minimum $18.85/hour - Maximum $31.10/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
