Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a dependable Cook for our Bel Air, MD kitchen. This full-time role requires following established recipes, portion guidelines, and safety standards while helping maintain a clean, organized work area.

The schedule is rotating with every other weekend and may include holidays. You will prepare meals in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and assist with stocking and inventory to ensure timely meal service.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or commercial food-service experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital, healthcare, restaurant, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic food-preparation and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and written instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or move kitchen supplies.
• Must be dependable and able to work a flexible, rotating schedule.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, rotating schedule

Available Shifts

• 4:30 AM–1:30 PM

• 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

• 11:00 AM–7:30 PM

• 12:00 PM–8:30 PM

Applicants must have flexible availability and be able to work any of the listed shifts. The rotating schedule includes every other weekend and may include holidays.
