Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment in Culver City is seeking a Director, Sourcing for Enterprise Technology to lead sourcing across enterprise technology, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of digital procurement technologies, AI, and data analytics to enhance sourcing strategies.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Must have strong Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel (advanced) and Word.
• Must be able to produce visually engaging reports to drive continuous improvement through measurement and monitoring of KPIs.
• Must have experience or be willing to learn Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
• Experience in Media and Entertainment, or Technology-based industries preferred.
• Experience with Spend Analytics, and Source-to-Contract tools (e.g., Simfoni) preferred.
• Familiarity or subject matter expertise in one of more relevant sourcing categories preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Expansion & Alignment: Align sourcing strategies with IT accountability and ensure consistency across the category.
• Strategic Sourcing Leadership: Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies across key categories to drive measurable value.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside Category Sourcing leaders to create synergies and a cooperative procurement environment.
• Partnership: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners for alignment and problem-solving.
• Internal Alignment and Adoption: Foster openness to collaboration within the sourcing function.
• Technology Procurement: Oversee procurement of enterprise technology solutions, including cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, IT infra.
• Trusted Advisor: Guide business partners with regular meetings and materials, promoting transparency and trust.
• Spend Analytics: Perform spend analysis and provide accurate BI for decision-making.
• Supplier Management: Drive contract management, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation.
• Agile Sourcing: Improve processes with automation and data-driven insights.
• Technology & Innovation: Leverage AI, automation, and digital procurement tools.
