Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Director, Technology Solutions who will devise a robust strategy for executing IT business initiatives and ensure delivery across multiple departments in a large healthcare technology environment.

The role requires in-office presence at Dallas/Frisco, TX; Louisville, KY; Arlington, VA; or DC/Baltimore Metro area and leads Agile teams, guides architecture decisions, and drives operational excellence through reliable, cloud-native solutions aligned with stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 6+ years of technical leadership experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts
• Experience with AI technology with AI-first mindset and automating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Technical decision-making: evaluate architecture options, delivery risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Engineering team leadership: experience leading Agile teams, coaching engineers, removing blockers, and improving delivery maturity.
• Strategic execution: ability to convert enterprise priorities into actionable technology initiatives and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Operational excellence: focus on reliability, observability, incident prevention, cost management, and continuous improvement.
• Manage Healthcare Products from design to deployment, and support efforts; contribute to modern applications with cloud-native architecture.
• Oversee delivery team as a supervisor, manage performance, assign daily tasks, and ensure milestones are met.
