Job summary

Acuity Inc. seeks a Technology Solutions Architect Lead to drive modernization across commerce, operations, engineering, and enterprise systems.

You will own end-to-end delivery for multi-team programs, leading architectures that blend cloud-native microservices, event-driven design, and AI-enhanced platforms. The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years of engineering or technical delivery leadership, with deep experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in engineering, solution architecture, or technical delivery leadership.
• Proven delivery of distributed, event‑driven, or cloud‑native systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and cloud architecture (Azure and AWS).
• Experience with microservices, DDD, and event-driven patterns (Kafka, Service Bus).
• Knowledge of architecture patterns, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and delivery of large, complex projects in CPQ and Digital Commerce space, including AI integrations.
• Own end-to-end delivery across cloud, microservices, data, and AI platforms for multi-team programs.
• Define standards for architecture documentation and translate designs into actionable workstreams.
• Mentor engineers, foster accountability, and drive high-performance delivery culture.
• Ensure robust CI/CD, observability, and secure, scalable releases.
