The ideal candidate has led delivery of cloud‑native, microservices, event‑driven, and AI‑enhanced systems, owning delivery as the accountable owner and ensuring scalable, secure solutions shipped on predictable timelines.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in engineering, solution architecture, or technical delivery leadership.
• Proven delivery of distributed, event-driven, or cloud-native systems.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and cloud architecture (Azure and AWS).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, DDD, and event-driven architecture – Kafka/Service Bus etc.
• Experience with architectural design patterns (MVC, etc).
• Deep expertise in Cloud computing & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) on AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of large, complex projects in CPQ & Digital Commerce space, including agentic AI and cloud architecture integrations, involving multiple vendors and leading-edge technologies.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team programs across cloud, microservices, data, and AI platforms.
• Build delivery plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure predictable execution.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.
• Provide hands-on expertise in evaluating emerging technologies, architecting, designing, developing, coding, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Define standards for architecture documentation using modeling tools and industry best practices – C4 models etc.
• Translate architectural designs into actionable workstreams with clear dependencies.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through reviews and technical coaching.
• Mentor engineers, foster accountability, and drive high-performance engineering culture.

We are seeking a Technology Solutions Architect Lead who can combine deep technical knowledge, strong delivery management, and architectural understanding to run multi-team execution for high-impact modernization programs.

The ideal candidate is someone who has led delivery of complex cloud-native, microservices, event-driven, and AI-enhanced systems. You will serve as the accountable owner for delivery, ensuring teams ship high-quality, scalable, secure solutions on predictable timelines.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Delivery & Execution

• Lead the architectural design and development of large and complex projects in CPQ & Digital Commerce space, including agentic AI and cloud architecture integrations, involving multiple vendors and leading-edge technologies.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team programs across cloud, microservices, data, and AI platforms.
• Build delivery plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure predictable execution.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.

Technical Oversight

• Provide hands-on expertise in evaluating emerging technologies, architecting, designing, developing, coding, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Guide delivery of systems built on Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, Postgres, Redis.
• Define standards for architecture documentation using modeling tools, methods, and industry best practices – C4 models etc.
• Translate architectural designs into actionable workstreams with clear dependencies.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and performance through reviews and technical coaching.
• Mentor engineers, foster accountability, and drive high-performance engineering culture.
• Support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality, CI/CD & Operations

• Uphold strong engineering standard testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and DevSecOps.
• Leverage tools like SonarQube, Snyk, Datadog, CloudWatch, and automated testing.
• Ensure smooth releases, post-launch stabilization, and root-cause analysis.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to align scope and priorities.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions to leaders and executive stakeholders.

AI-Enabled Delivery

• Drive adoption of AI coding assistants and GenAI engineering platforms.
• Integrate AI-driven quality, documentation, and automation practices into delivery workflows.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

• 8–12+ years in engineering, solution architecture, or technical delivery leadership.
• Proven delivery of distributed, event-driven, or cloud-native systems.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and expertise in cloud architecture (Azure and AWS)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including experience with microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design (DDD), and event driven architecture – Event hub / Kafka / Service Bus etc.
• Experience with architectural design patterns (MVC, MNNM etc)
• Deep expertise in Cloud computing & containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) – on the Azure/AWS platform.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure-as-code). Experience with ARM templates, Bicep templates, Go, Ansible, Python are a plus.
• Strong experience with:
• Java/Spring Boot
• AWS (EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, RDS)
• Kafka & streaming
• CI/CD and monitoring tools
• Experience with ML/AI or data pipeline delivery is a plus.
• Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience delivering GenAI enablement platforms or AI coding assistants.
• Experience with GraphQL/Hasura, FastAPI, Redis, Spark, Airflow, or SageMaker.
• Understanding of security, data privacy, and enterprise governance in large-scale systems.
