Job summary

Suburban Enterprises in Wisconsin is seeking a Service Technician - Technology to diagnose, repair, and upgrade a range of low voltage systems. You will install equipment, manage inventories, and assist with software installations while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires 3–5 years of electronics experience, ability to travel up to 25%, and certifications such as CPR/First Aid and NFPA70E. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years’ experience with electronics and/or low voltage systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain shortly after start.
• NFPA70E training.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability for company vehicle.
• Understanding of computer systems and networks.
• Understanding NEC and NFPA codes applicable to work.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes and systems.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and perform system upgrades on CCTV, Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Card Access and other Technology systems.
• Install and replace equipment; manage inventories of tech gear.
• Provide diagnostic reviews, software installations and updates; ensure effective problem solving.
• Maintain customer relationships through dependable, honest service and clear communication.
• Review work orders to ensure data accuracy for efficient service and commissioning.
