Zoetis Kalamazoo is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Tech Services team at the site. You will work on process improvements, validation, and documentation to support the production floor. The role spans multiple projects across the site and requires hands-on involvement.

The internship emphasizes a self-starting, team-oriented candidate who is pursuing or recently completed an engineering degree, with readiness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kalamazoo, MI.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or recently graduated).
• Self-starter working with minimal supervision.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be physically residing in the U.S for the entirety of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Tech Services on process improvement and problem solving.
• Support implementation of tooling interchangeability program for blister packaging lines.
• Develop audit-ready technical documentation, including detailed risk assessment.
• Assist in validation of existing and new equipment.
• Work to digitize current validation processes to allow for streamlined and efficient work.
• Learn the operations of the site and help support the leaders and teams.
• Utilize mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
