Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate to grow a career in a high-energy, customer-focused environment. You’ll help customers select a mix of devices, services, and accessories while building lasting relationships in our retail stores.

You’ll learn, earn uncapped commissions, and advance through ongoing training with opportunities to connect with communities at sponsored events. Some evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known 4 weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak seasons.
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated sales experience and customer service ability.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by connecting and asking questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations for a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with strong communication to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon sponsored events.
