Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our on-site store team. You’ll drive retail sales, connect with customers, and tailor tech solutions to meet needs. You’ll also train, expand merchandising capabilities, and engage with the community to grow a loyal customer base.

The role offers base pay of $16–$21 per hour with potential annual commissions up to $18,000, and top performers may exceed $75,000 including commissions. Benefits start Day One and numerous discounts apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to picking up additional shifts to increase income, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Potential to grow your customer base by outbound calls/texts to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
