Job summary

UHY-US is seeking a Technology Risk and Compliance Intern to help clients understand and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks across SOC, PCI, ISO, HIPAA, and other frameworks. You will gain hands-on experience working with IT Audit Managers and client teams.

This temporary internship position involves IT risk assessments, controls testing, documentation, and time-tracking. Travel may be required as the TRC team convenes at various offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of relevant internship or work experience
• High School Diploma or GED or high school equivalent
• Actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or similar with an interest in information technology

Responsibilities

• IT Control Attestations: understand client IT systems, infrastructure, and control environment across frameworks
• IT Risk Assessments: assess IT risks and prepare reports for stakeholders
• Controls Testing: evaluate effectiveness of controls
• Documentation: document procedures and results of tests performed
• Administration: track time and maintain chargeable hours for the year
