Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' relevant work experience in risk, compliance, technology, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory examinations.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement risk management processes, including reporting and documentation for regulatory, committee, and leadership reporting.
• Lead compliance efforts for respective function, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to act swiftly when events occur beyond the Bank's risk appetite.
• Prepare materials for regulators and coordinate responses from multiple stakeholders; assist in exam management.
• Assess new methodologies and advise Technology and Cybersecurity Risk leadership on strategy integration.
• Promote enhancements to risk training programs to raise technology risk awareness.
• Maintain regulatory standards, policies and controls in line with Risk Appetite.
• Identify risk issues needing escalation to management.
• Support diversity and reflect the M&T Bank brand in the work environment.
• Maintain internal controls and address audit and regulator feedback in a timely manner.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
