BDO USA, LLP invites energetic self-starters to join the Technology Risk Assurance internship. You will assist in problem solving and fact-finding, gaining hands-on exposure under experienced mentors.

This role emphasizes learning, client interaction, and applying IS audit principles in real-world environments. You will document and test controls, help prepare audit reports, and participate in internal control reviews aligned with SOX requirements while developing professional relationships

Qualificações

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems, required.
• Pursuing a Masters in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree, preferred.
• Past leadership experience, preferred.
• Prior internship or work study experience of information systems and operational auditing experience, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Documents and tests application and automated controls on a wide range of software application packages.
• Assists in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations associated with IS audit work performed.
• Participates in the review of internal controls based on Sarbanes‑Oxley Act requirements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with client personnel and management.
• Conducts client interviews to obtain relevant information for non-complex clients.
• Performs walkthroughs of client controls.
• Documents controls, tests performed and results.
• Prepares workpapers in the required format.
• Applies IS audit principles and guidelines to non-complex client environment.
• Other duties as required.
