Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Retail Sales and Merchandising Associate for our Phoenix, AZ store. You will assist customers with computer and electronics purchases, maintain product knowledge, and participate in merchandising duties to keep the department inviting and organized.

You will support open/close procedures, help monitor store operations, and contribute to loss prevention efforts while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related experience strongly preferred.
• Passion for technology including computers/electronics; commissioned sales experience a plus.
• Sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and adjust priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with a variety of computer and electronics purchases in a high-volume store.
• Maintain product knowledge and participate in sales, vendor and product training.
• Maintain the department by keeping a clean area and perform merchandising activities such as processing freight and markdowns.
• Participate in open and close procedures and support store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness.
