Job summary

Smartsearchonline is seeking a Technology Project Manager in Boston, MA to drive complex client programs. You will define, develop and execute project plans, manage dependencies, risks and resources in a matrixed EPMO environment.

The role requires 5-7 years of tech project management experience, strong cross‑functional collaboration, and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The position is contract-based and focused on delivering critical projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years' experience in technology project management with MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams and Excel.
• Understanding of SDLC using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• PMI certification and Agile certifications desirable (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP).
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, risk registers, actions, scope charter and resourcing needs.
• Lead technology project delivery and manage implementation processes including status, metrics, change control, QA and testing, and release.
• Coordinate project resources in a matrixed environment.
• Identify cross-project dependencies, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
