Job summary

The Select Group in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support budget tracking, technical contracting, and delivery of technology initiatives across multiple programs.

The role involves coordinating inputs from vendors, legal, procurement, and technical teams; managing requirements, stakeholder communications, and project documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related project management experience.
• Experience supporting utility/AMI or multi-vendor transformation programs.
• 3+ years gathering and documenting technical or functional requirements.
• Knowledge of requirements management, traceability, change control, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with Agile delivery and SDLC processes.
• Ability to develop detailed functional specifications and business rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence solution design.

Responsibilities

• Support with budget tracking, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Coordinate inputs from vendors, technical teams, Legal, Procurement, and other stakeholders for technical contracting.
• Lead smaller technical projects or workstreams using Agile and SDLC methods.
• Analyze business processes and translate needs into functional requirements and business rules.
• Assess regulatory impacts and incorporate requirements into project documentation and traceability.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain requirements traceability, changes, decisions, and dependencies throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, developers, and architects to ensure correct implementation.
• Prepare presentations, visual aids, and program updates for management and executives.
• Support stakeholder communications, meeting coordination, and action tracking.
