Sun Chemical in Amelia, OH is seeking a Production Operator for the Main Plant on a 4/4 day shift (6:00 am – 6:30 pm). You will operate production equipment, move materials, and support packaging and labeling activities to produce pigment dispersions that meet quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree a plus, and forklift/elevated platform certifications. You will follow safety procedures, complete training modules, and collaborate with multiple

Production Operator-Main Plant-Amelia-4/4 6am-630pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final products manufactured
• Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment
• Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly
• Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow
• Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements
• Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements
• Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules
• Completion of cyber security modules, and any other company mandated training requirements
• Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership.
• Communicates required information in all phases of production processes including but not limited to interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, human resource if necessary
• Includes both verbal and written communications.
• Operates material handling equipment including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts.
• Must be able to lift 55lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoning skills, mathematical skills, and physical skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED/equivalent

Associates Degree is a plus

• Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms.
