Job summary
OCLC is seeking a Technical Product Manager to oversee product planning and development, guiding global engineering on design and strategy. You will craft product strategy, roadmaps, launch plans, white papers, and user personas, coordinating with architects and development staff to ensure requirements are met.
As a subject matter expert, you will influence portfolio plans, roadmaps, metrics, and progress reviews, aligning with Data Services Portfolio, Global Engineering, and OCLC Research to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2-4 years of software design, software development, system analysis, data architecture, or data modeling.
- 2-4 years of product, project or program management.
- 2-4 years of experience in supporting online/database services, preferably in the library field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Produces product roadmap.
- Collaborates on release plans with Development.
- Performs technology assessment to add value and reduce costs.
- Provides leadership to cross-functional product workgroups.
- Leads Product management meetings and resolves conflicts.
