Job summary

OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for WorldCat to lead data ingest/enrichment services and weave WorldCat data across products.

You will drive modernization of data infrastructure and collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to translate market needs into innovative solutions. Responsibilities include market analysis, roadmap maintenance, and cross-functional leadership to advance metadata and data interoperability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2 to 4 years of experience in product, project, or program management
• 2 to 4 years of experience supporting online/database services, preferably for libraries or adjacent organizations
• Experience with linked data schemas, architecture and technologies (RDF, BIBFRAME, schema.org, ontologies , SPARQL)
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of AI in day-to-day workflows and product development
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversees market analysis and develops product strategy and business case for WorldCat
• Produces and maintains the product roadmap
• Collaborates on release plans with Development and Finance
• Leads product management meetings and cross-functional workgroups
• Defines and rationalizes user personas and market research outputs
• Provides input into portfolio plans and progress reviews
