Job summary

Partners Group is seeking an Investment Leader (Vice President) to join its Technology team in the Americas. The role oversees sourcing, evaluating, and executing technology investments, while leading due diligence, valuation, and investment committee processes.

The position requires 6+ years in private equity with a tech focus, strong communication skills, and ability to manage the investment cycle end-to-end. Based in the US, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in private equity with tech focus (plus 2–3 years in IB).
• Strong understanding of technology landscape, software categories, and SaaS models.
• Existing relationships with intermediaries a plus.
• Excellent business judgment for evaluating opportunities and management quality.

Responsibilities

• Source, execute and lead tech investments across the Americas.
• Manage due diligence with team and advisors.
• Lead valuation analyses and Investment Committee memoranda.
• Negotiate and coordinate legal docs (SPA, SHA, MIP).
• Support debt financing with Capital Markets team.
• Engage with portfolio management and boards on value creation.
