FINN Partners' East Coast Technology Public Relations team in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant Account Executive with technology PR experience to join our metro NYC area team. The role supports media relations and campaigns for tech clients, with in-office 3 days a week and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, or journalism.
• Prior technology public relations internship experience or prior technology PR agency work experience.
• Familiarity with public relations/communications programs through coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring client and competitive media coverage.
• Developing and maintaining media lists.
• Drafting pitches and conducting media outreach.
• Conducting secondary research and writing measurement report drafts.
• Supporting speaking opportunities and developing award submissions.
• Writing news releases and other editorial content.
• Supporting media briefings and events.
• Participating in team brainstorms.
• Supporting new business initiatives.
