Qualifications

• BA/BS in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field.
• 4+ years' agency experience in the tech or finance sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with national, state, and local media with proven press coverage.
• Established media contacts and ongoing relationship-building.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and detail-oriented; delivers on time.
• Creative professional with an energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client service and account/project management.
• Develop strategic plans/programs, including press materials, media campaigns, and partnerships.
• Lead media efforts focused on fostering editorial relationships and significant coverage.
• Execute written materials: client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports.
• Oversee client projects from concept to execution, managing budgets, timelines, and junior staff.
• Bring industry contacts to the table where appropriate.
• Communicate new ideas to keep clients relevant, from pitches to campaigns.
• Serve as client point-of-contact on assigned accounts, coordinating multiple projects.
• Manage the work of AEs, AAEs, ACs, and interns.
