5W Public Relations LLC. is seeking an Account Executive to contribute to our Tech practice. You will manage account work, pitch media, and build strong media relations with tech clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, time management, and strategic communication within a dynamic agency setting. You will create press materials, develop media plans, and drive placements while collaborating with senior staff.

Qualifications

• BA in Public Relations or related field
• 2-3 years of PR agency experience, specifically with Techbased clients
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
• Proven client relations and supervisory skills
• Creative and energetic personality

Responsibilities

• Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving media results
• Create and develop media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, bios, case studies
• Develop relationships with prominent media to secure placements
• Develop strategic communication plans aligned with PR strategy
• Execute PR strategies and develop strategic media plans
• Generate proactive pitch ideas based on industry trends and announcements
• Identify speaking opportunities for clients as industry experts
• Daily client interaction to review strategy and results
• Assist in research, writing, and development of new business proposals
• Provide guidance to junior staff
• Participate in brainstorming for strategic/creative thinking
