5WPR in New York is seeking a driven Junior Account Executive to join our Tech PR practice. You will support media relations, account management, and reporting across multiple tech clients, helping shape the narrative and build foundational client success.

This hands-on role offers exposure to national and regional media, opportunities to craft compelling pitches, and a path to deepen writing, media strategy, and client service in a fast-paced agency.

Qualifications

• S./B.A. in Public Relations or related field.
• 1 year of full‑time agency experience required, ideally in tech/corporate PR.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adaptable messaging for platforms/audiences.
• Proactive, creative, energetic with excellent organizational skills.
• Positive, flexible attitude with a proactive and curious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build targeted media lists and craft compelling story angles.
• Support media outreach, secure coverage, and monitor results.
• Assist in account management: scheduling calls, drafting recaps, and organizing files.
• Oversee trackers and databases; coordinate media/influencer deliveries.
• Contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.
