Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Project Intern to contribute to fast-paced policy projects and gain hands-on experience in government affairs. The intern will track federal and state legislation, draft memos, attend tech policy events, and support outreach to policymakers.

Current enrollment in a public policy or related tech-policy degree is required, with 14 weeks commitment and onsite work 4–5 days per week. Work authorization in the United States is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in public policy or related tech-policy discipline.
• Experience on the hill with writing experience.
• Able to commit to 14 weeks for Fall or Spring and work onsite 4–5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Track relevant legislation at the Federal and State levels.
• Monitor legislative hearings relevant to tech policy.
• Draft memorandums and documents related to Federal and State legislation and tech‑related updates.
• Attend tech‑related events.
• Assist the Public Policy team in reaching policymakers.
• Advance the goals of the company with the Public Policy team.
