Job summary

TikTok is seeking an AMS Public Policy Project Intern for a 2027 start in Washington, D.C. This on-site internship offers hands-on work with the Global Public Policy & Government Affairs team, tracking legislation, drafting memos, and attending tech policy events.

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in public policy or a related tech-policy field, with Hill experience and writing skills. The 14-week program runs 4–5 days per week, with health and other benefits for interns.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in public policy or a related tech-policy discipline.
Experience on the hill with writing experience.
Able to commit to working for 14 weeks for either a Fall or Spring position and work onsite 4-5 days/week.
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire; no sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

Track relevant legislation at the Federal and State levels.
Monitor legislative hearings relevant to tech policy.
Draft memorandums and documents related to Federal and State legislation and tech-related updates.
Attend tech-related events.
Assist the Public Policy team in reaching policymakers.
Work with the Public Policy team to advance the goals of the company.
