UF Health in Jacksonville seeks an inpatient pharmacy technician responsible for preparing, compounding, packaging and delivering medications. You will support pharmacists and maintain regulatory compliance while ensuring accurate medication handling.
Ideal candidates will have a GED or HS Diploma, Florida licensure (intern or tech), and strong math, organization, and communication skills, with a cooperative team approach and attention to detail.
Inpatient pharmacy technicians are responsible for maintaining medication systems through preparation, compounding, packaging and delivery of medications. They may prepare IV medications and are tasked with maintaining an optimal environment for the preparation and storage of medications. They also assist the pharmacists in meeting all regulatory compliance requirements.
