Job summary

GEM Technologies is a full-service managed IT service provider with offices in NYC and Fort Myers. We seek a senior technology and operations leader to scale our MSP, own technology strategy, and drive service delivery excellence.

You will oversee cybersecurity standards, platform health (Microsoft 365, RMM, PSA), and a growing team, while partnering with the President to shape direction and ensure outstanding client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years in IT, MSP, or technology services.
• Leadership experience in an MSP or services-based IT organization.
• Strong background in Microsoft ecosystems, cybersecurity, and modern IT stacks.
• Proven ability to scale teams and improve operational maturity.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee MSP platforms (Microsoft 365, security stack, RMM, PSA, backups, networking).
• Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team.
• Ensure service delivery quality and client experience.
• Partner with leadership on capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
