Job summary

IdealHire Technologies, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist for Radiology/Cardiology in Cleveland, OH. This contract position runs 13–26 weeks with a daytime schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, no on-call or weekends.

You’ll perform MRI exams, ensure safety and image quality, and comply with all credentialing standards in a fast-paced environment. Active ARRT MR, AHA BLS, and Ohio license are required, plus Siemens MRI experience and 18+ months in MRI prior to travel.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification must be active and current.
• AHA BLS certification active.
• Ohio license must be active at submission; compact licenses accepted for starts 2023+.
• Minimum 18 months MRI experience.
• Hands-on Siemens MRI equipment experience.
• All certifications must be active with nothing pending.
• Nicotine-free with recent 10-panel drug screen.
• Two manager-level references within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of MRI exams including Neurological, Body, and MSK imaging.
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners across Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto platforms.
• Ensure patient safety and image quality throughout scanning procedures.
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of MRI exams including routine Neurological, Body, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto platforms
• Ensure patient safety and image quality throughout all scanning procedures
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, credentialing requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Active Ohio state license required at time of submission; Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI prior to travel assignment
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Candidates must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including Nicotine (Cotinine) completed within the past 12 months is required (must be updated annually)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from assignments worked in the past 12 months, are required — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate
