Located in Dyersburg, TN, our 28-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. McDowell offers unique and individualized programming for adolescent boys that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our tenured leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department.

Mental Health Technician creates a safe environment for residents, saves lives, when necessary, provides hope, empowers residents, and teaches new tools for coping with residents. The Mental Health Technician provides direct resident care under the supervision of a Shift Supervisor. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, education groups and activities of daily living.
