Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys working in a collegial workplace.
• Critical thinking skills with superior research and analytical ability.
• Positive and flexible attitude.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for venture capital, start-ups and entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential start-up investments and source relationships with company founders
• Meet with entrepreneurs and evaluate their business plans and pitches
• Track and report on deal flow generated by the team
• Research industry sectors, trends, and market dynamics
• Assist with due diligence
• Work on a dedicated fund team focused on Technology and/or Media venture opportunities
• Help impact the innovation strategies of leading corporations
