Job summary

Blacklock Group is expanding its Technology Investment Banking team in New York. The successful candidate will execute M&A mandates, build financial models, and prepare client materials, working closely with senior bankers on high-profile technology transactions.

You will coordinate due diligence, manage multiple workstreams, and mentor junior analysts while developing strategic opportunities for leading technology companies and financial sponsors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of investment banking experience, ideally at elite boutique or bulge bracket.
• Strong experience in M&A execution, preferably within Technology, TMT, Software, IT Services or related sectors.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Experience supporting live transactions and managing multiple workstreams in a demanding environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client-management skills.
• A strong academic background, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, mergers, acquisitions and strategic advisory assignments.
• Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction-related materials.
• Prepare and oversee the development of pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations and other client deliverables.
• Coordinate due diligence processes, manage transaction workstreams and support deal execution from initial engagement through closing.
• Conduct industry, company and market research to identify strategic opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Work closely with senior bankers, clients, management teams and financial sponsors throughout the transaction process.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, reviewing their work and contributing to the team's development.
