Job summary

Infoblox is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to join its North American legal team. This remote-first role focuses on guiding complex technology licensing, IP agreements, and SaaS contracts in a fast-paced, privacy-conscious environment, working with Sales, Finance, and Marketing.

• JD degree or equivalent legal degree.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of residence.
• 8+ years in technology licensing or transactional law in-house or at a top-tier law firm.
• Experience structuring and negotiating domestic and international transactions.
• Proven GDPR and data protection/privacy regulations expertise.
• Familiarity with government contracting, compliance, and flow-down requirements.
• Knowledge of network security, cloud computing, and SaaS business models.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and manage technology licenses and IP agreements.
• Draft SaaS/cloud contracts and DPAs.
• Advise cross-functional teams on GDPR compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Support business strategy during commercial transactions.
• Communicate legal concepts to Sales, Finance, and Marketing.
