Job summary

Textron Leadership Development Internship Program – Information Technology is a 10-week summer internship offering hands-on project work in IT. Eligible candidates may receive a housing stipend and the program can lead to a full-time opportunity after graduation. Locations include Detroit, MI among others.

Participants will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, mentorship, and on-the-job training while developing leadership and technical skills for a future career at Textron.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Proactive and results-driven individual.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Resourceful/problem solver.
• Able to quickly adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Participate and drive business outcomes in a 10-week internship in a project within IT functional areas (e.g., Cyber Security, Product Lifecycle Management, Data Analytics, Technology Manufacturing).
• Contribute to a wide variety of projects to grow leadership, business acumen, and technical skills.
• Work within a team setting under guidance from your assigned manager.
