Job summary

Darwin Recruitment seeks a Technical Lead in Machine Learning to own end-to-end ML systems from data and training through deployment and monitoring. You will ship production-grade models, optimize inference, and collaborate with researchers and engineers to iterate on real-world results.

The role focuses on scalable pipelines, robust evaluation, and pragmatic trade-offs to deliver reliable AI-native features with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping ML systems in production.
• Strong grasp of large-model training, fine-tuning, evaluation and inference.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ML systems from data and training through evaluation, inference and deployment.
• Training and fine-tuning pipelines for large models.
• Evaluation systems that measure capability, robustness, safety and real-world product performance.
• High-performance inference: latency, GPU utilisation, memory, cost and reliability.
• Data pipelines for high-quality real-world and synthetic training data.
• Production infrastructure to deploy, monitor and continuously improve models.
• Collaborate with research and application engineering, iterating quickly on real-world results.
