Job summary

Appfire is seeking a Tech Lead - Fullstack Engineer to join the BigPicture team and help evolve a modern cloud-based SaaS platform. You’ll lead the design of new functionality, optimize existing services, and support systems used by thousands of tenants.

This role is heavily rooted in backend expertise, requiring a profound understanding of Java, Spring, and AWS / Cloud technologies. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have the willingness and capability to look after the frontend layer

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tech Lead driving technical direction and mentoring engineers.
Strong practical knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.
Cloud and AWS expertise with SaaS architectures.
Hands-on frontend capabilities with TypeScript and modern frameworks.
Experience with AI-enabled development practices and tools.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for AI-driven product initiatives.
Design, implement, and optimize backend functionalities using Java, Spring, and AWS.
Own the frontend layer with TypeScript and Angular or React to support fullstack delivery.
Lead AI feature implementations focusing on chatbots, data quality, and dynamic reporting.
Promote AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows.
Ensure high code quality with unit/integration/e2e tests and peer reviews.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and other teams.
